Wiley Edmonds was born at the ending of World War II in 1945, on a farm and cattle ranch in Eastern Oklahoma. Much of his early home life was woven around the church. He expressed his surrender of a call into the Gospel ministry at a young age, and over the next few years preached regularly and often in churches, both locally and in neighboring cities.
Having a desire to learn and advance beyond the obvious and superficial, he began his formal ministerial training and religious education by enrolling as a student at Oklahoma City Southwestern Bible College, working toward a degree in Theology, and Minor in Forensic Speech. His leadership ability soon became widely recognized, and he became the recipient of over 2 dozen awards for his excellence in public speaking.
Soon after earning his ministerial credentials and formal ordination, he married Sue Rice, his high school sweetheart. Three years later they were called to a pastorate near Tulsa, Oklahoma, giving Wiley an opportunity to attend seminary at the Oral Roberts University, School of Theology. It was while he was a student at ORU, that he was privileged to spend a semester studying in the Bible Lands, under the Instruction of the Dean of the ORU Graduate School of Theology, Dr. R.O. Corvin.
Over the ensuing decades, Wiley both pastored and built several churches, and also served several years on the Board of Christian Education, for his denominational conference. During the 1990’s he served the Christian Booksellers industry and was employed as Regional Vice-President of Sales, for a national company, servicing over 5,000 Christian Stores throughout the USA. While there, he recognized a need among Christians, for a deeper foundational understanding of the Bible. As a result, he wrote his first book entitled, “Where on Earth did the Bible Come From?” He has also spent hundreds of hours in the writing and development of business manuals and training programs for the sales industry.
As a speaker and trainer, he has helped many people ascertain higher levels of achievement, both spiritually and professionally. Having spent over 50 years of in-depth Biblical research and studies into the backstory of the Holy Bible, He is able to give an astoundingly exciting and enlightened view of the scriptures, making the story seemingly walk right off the page, helping to make the Holy Spirit, and God’s only Son Jesus, become a living and intimate part of your being.
Wiley became widowed as his beloved Sue passed away in early 2022. He is retired and currently resides in Double Oak, Texas.
